We're in the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period—a time for Medicare-eligible people to choose the plan that best supports their total health. And while most people focus on their physical well-being when choosing a Medicare plan, they often overlook other critical aspects of health like staying socially connected. CVS Health’s Path to Better Health study found that 1 in 4 Americans 65 and over report feeling socially isolated — indicating an opportunity to address the problem. This is just one of the topics we will visit about this weekend with Christopher Ciano, senior vice president and head of Aetna Medicare.

A Tennessee man with distinct facial tattoos was arrested after deputies said he led them on a high-speed chase after an attempted traffic stop. 30-year-old Jonathon Harvey was accused of not stopping when a deputy, who said he saw Harvey driving a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta with a dirty plate in Hamilton County around 2:17 a.m., tried to pull him over. Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office said during the chase, Harvey, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was clocked going 80 mph in a 45 mph zone. At one point Harvey allegedly aimed the Jetta at a deputy, who said he had to drive his vehicle off the road and into a ditch to avoid a head-on collision. Eventually, Harvey ditched the car and tried to flee on foot. Deputies said he stopped running and got down on the ground after a deputy fired a stun gun at him that missed. According to the deputies Harvey smelled of marijuana and a search of the Jetta turned up a small amount of the drug. Harvey was arrested on multiple charges, including evading arrest and drug possession. (https://fxn.ws/2pJb4bm)

WEIRD NEWS: Brought to you by WeirdGiftOfTheDay.com
A Florida man accused of robbing three banks in three hours turned himself in to police. 40-year-old Sandy Graham Jr. allegedly robbed a trio of banks in Broward County in about the same amount of time it takes to watch a Quentin Tarantino flick or take in a baseball game. The spree started at a Chase bank location in Hollywood around 2:30 p.m., according to the FBI. When he approached a bank teller, Graham implied he had a weapon and demanded money. Other people were inside the bank, but no one was injured. Graham then reportedly moved on to a Bank of America, located about 10 minutes away, and followed the same script. Around 5:30 p.m., Graham wrapped up the string of heists at a SunTrust branch and, again, implied he had a weapon and demanded money. It was not immediately clear if the person robbing the banks actually had a weapon or how much money he took. The FBI released photos of the bank robber and, on Saturday, Graham surrendered to authorities and was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service.(https://fxn.ws/2WpkBRk)

Prosecutors say that an elderly Louisiana woman was sentenced to prison after she tried to kill her own attorney. 78-year-old Patricia Currie of Mandeville was handed a 22-year prison sentence in the attempted murder of attorney Keith Couture in 2016. Couture claimed that Currie arrived at his office alone with a gun, wearing latex gloves on her hands and plastic bags on his feet. She allegedly told him that she came to kill him then revealed a shotgun from under a towel. Currie raised the weapon toward him but the lawyer was able to wrestle it away. The episode came weeks after Couture unsuccessfully tried to withdraw from representing her in a bankruptcy case. She testified at her own trial that she was only trying to scare her lawyer. But the jury convicted her in August after just fifteen minutes of deliberation. (https://bit.ly/36dv6eP)
