People who enjoy cleaning house are happier and more relaxed, according to the results of a survey done a few years ago. The poll, sponsored by Clorox, found that for each extra hour of time spent cleaning per week, the average respondent’s happiness increased by 53%. Regular cleaning was also associated with other positive health outcomes, including improved relaxation (indicated by 80% of respondents), heightened focus (77%), better sleep (72%), and increased productivity (72%). And the benefits of a clean home extended beyond those doing the cleaning: 60% of parents said their kids studied better when their room was clean, and about half indicated that their child was better-behaved.
BIG SCREEN-LITTLE SCREEN
Pee-wee Herman’s beloved bicycle from the 1985 cult classic “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure” has found a new home — and for a hefty price. The screen-used stunt bike, ridden by the late Paul Reubens in the film, sold for $125,000 on Saturday. The bicycle was one of only 14 created for the film. The prop was custom-made, and has been restored to make it appear closer to what it looked like in the film. Fans would recognize it from scenes like the one showing Pee-wee crashing into a curb and joking: “I meant to do that.”
“Blue’s Clues” star Steve Burns made a surprising admission about his time working on the beloved children’s show. According to him, waiters “made more money” than he did while hosting the Nickelodeon hit. The now 51-year-old said: “I got Blue’s Clues early, but every waiter I ever knew made more money than I did for the first many seasons of that show.” But, Burns said, he was “really fortunate”, because Blue’s Clues became his “side hustle forever,” and working in voiceovers was his main source of income.
A man was arrested on Monday after crashing his car through the front gates of Jennifer Aniston’s $21 million Bel-Air mansion. Police told ABC News that the incident unfolded at 12:20pm, and Aniston was home at the time of the crash. The “Friends” star’s security team responded to the incident and detained the driver at gunpoint. The man, believed to be in his 70s, reportedly sustained minor injuries and was arrested for felony vandalism.
DID YA KNOW!?
Plants came before seeds. According to the fossil record, early plants resembled moss and reproduced with single-celled spores. Multicellular seeds didn’t evolve for another 150 million years.

OF THE DAY
Zoologists claim that Tigers have been known to seek revenge on those who have wronged them.
You’ve heard of a “staycation”? Now, welcome to the age of going “out on the town at home”. A new survey shows that these days, people much prefer to enjoy a night IN with guests, rather than going out. The survey of 2,000 Americans found, of those who have a preference, 72% would pick staying in with friends, while just 28% prefer a night out. And half said this change in attitude came in the past few years. In addition to the fact that the home might provide a more comfortable environment (according to 65%), 53% said hosting at home is a good way to save money, and 47% said it’s easier to hear each other. Other top benefits to hosting at home cited by respondents, in order of popularity, included avoiding crowds, having more control over ambiance, food, drinks, and entertainment, and not having to get dressed up.

WEIRD NEWS
A Nevada man who was arrested after 7 tigers were seized from his home claimed they were his “emotional support animals.” Cops raided Karl Mitchell’s home, and arrested him on suspicion of resisting arrest. He did not have a special conditions animal permit to own the animals, and had violated other rules, including “walking the tigers loose…off the property, in the desert,” and interacting with people, officials said. 71-year-old Mitchell told media he didn’t need permits because the tigers are his emotional support animals and the public wasn’t in danger. He also said he “rescued” the big cats from ‘Joe Exotic’, of Netflix’s “Tiger King” fame.
