Great news for coffee lovers: Science just gave your morning ritual a gold star. A new study from Bielefeld University in Germany and the University of Warwick in England found that your first cup of coffee doesn’t just wake you up, it actually makes you happier. Researchers tracked 236 young Germans for 4 weeks, asking them 7 times a day about their mood and caffeine intake. The verdict? On mornings with caffeine, participants reported more joy, enthusiasm, and less sadness — and those effects that lasted up to 2½ hours. The magic happens because caffeine blocks adenosine receptors, boosting dopamine in the brain. Experts say moderate intake — about 4 cups a day, max — delivers mood perks, plus antioxidants that may lower risks for diabetes, dementia, and heart disease. In short: sip, smile, repeat.

Guy Fieri's eldest son has tied the knot with professional pickleball player Tara Bernstein. The nuptials happened on Saturday at the Fieri family's HuntRyde Ranch in Sonoma, California. Hunter Fieri jokingly described the wedding to People as "a mini Stagecoach," and called it “controlled chaos”. Guy Fieri personally thanked different chefs for the “next level wedding dinner for just 350 of our closest friends!!" He also shouted out “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro for his "5 tall cake!!!"
Bruno Tonioli will not be returning to “Britain's Got Talent” for its new season due to schedule conflicts. He wrote on IG: "Due to my prior commitment to Dancing with the Stars, I am sadly not able to be part of the next series of Britain's Got Talent." Tonioli shared on Instagram on Sept. 1. Tonioli has been part of Britain's Got Talent since 2023, when he replaced David Walliams for the show's 16th series.

A 2021 study by researchers in Hungary found the one trait that tends to line up most with canine smarts is . . . grumpiness. M&M’s fans are going nuts over a new release. To be clear, I said “M&M’s”, not “Eminem”. And the new release is the limited edition “cookies & crème” flavor. M&M’s Cookies & Crème is a white and dark “chocolate lover’s dream come true” that is already available on some grocery store shelves. One food Instagrammer described it as having a white and dark chocolate center with notes of cookies and crème (as one might expect…). M&Ms had a similar flavor called “Cookies & Scream M&M”, which were released in time for Halloween in 2017, and again in 2021. But the new Cookies & Crème” flavor is slightly different. Those lucky enough to sample the new ones say the past ones tasted creamier, but the newer ones have a little more of a fudgy taste to them. Chinese automaker XPeng has introduced a wild new feature aimed at calming drivers by letting them turn road rage into a ‘video game’. Called the “Road Rage Reliever,” the system uses augmented reality to project exploding emojis and give the illusion of hitting other cars. Drivers can fire angry faces, shoes, or other digital icons at offenders by pressing a customizable steering-wheel button. Cameras lock onto the “target” before launching the virtual attack, which appears 33 feet ahead in 3D space. XPeng says it’s about channeling frustration in a “civilized” way, trading middle fingers for Mario Kart-style emoji warfare.
