Let’s settle the debate once and for all – Is a hot dog a sandwich? According to a new survey of 2,000 Americans, more than half (53%) say yes. Conducted by OnePoll, the study dug into cookout food habits, condiment preferences, and even personality traits tied to burgers versus hot dogs. The results show that most people (75%) build their hot dogs by adding condiments to the bun before the meat. Why? One in 3 say doing it that way keeps things tidier (We have no idea why the other 2/3 put condiments on first…). Ketchup dominates as the top condiment, but mustard fans are more likely to call themselves adventurous eaters. Overall, burgers still reign supreme at cookouts. And while food is the focus, the topics people dread most at family gatherings are, in order, money, politics, and religion. Here are some key findings:
• Ketchup won out over mustard: 63% vs 27%.
• Burgers beat hot dogs: 75% vs 25%.
• Hot dog fans more likely to be picky eaters: 34% vs 29%, and more likely to be extroverts.
• Burger fans who think they’re funny: 47% — vs 42% of hot dog eaters.

Emma Heming Willis is opening up about life with her husband, Bruce Willis, amid his struggles with dementia. In a new interview with Diane Sawyer, she revealed the 70-year-old now lives in a nearby residence for round-the-clock care. Emma called the move one of her hardest decisions, and admitted the illness has strained their marriage and taken away the ease of conversation, though Bruce still shows occasional sparks of his old self. She emphasized that Bruce remains physically strong and in good overall health, but admitted his brain “is failing him.”
‘Edward’ and ‘Bella’ are back! Fathom Entertainment and Lionsgate will release the 5 films of the “Twilight” saga in a nationwide movie marathon from October 29 to November 2, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the first book in Stephenie Myer’s iconic series. Screenings for the 5-night engagement include exclusive roundtable chats for each of the films with Meyer, producers Wyck Godfrey and Karen Rosenfelt, and others involved in the films. The Twilight Saga films, which launched the careers of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, have grossed more than $3.3 billion worldwide.
Pedro Pascal is reportedly being eyed for the lead role in director Todd Haynes’ upcoming gay romance film. Pascal is in talks to take over from Joaquin Phoenix, who abruptly exited the movie in August 2024, 5 days before filming was set to begin. Now titled “De Noche”, production is scheduled to begin in Guadalajara, Mexico early next year. Pascal will star opposite Danny Ramirez as lovers in the movie, which takes place during the 1930s.

Created by Disney Imagineer Rick Rothschild (the genius behind Disneyland’s “Soarin’ Over California”), it blends sky-high adventure with a crash course in history. Guests are lifted into gondola-style seats, suspended before a massive dome screen filled with drone-shot footage of rivers, forests, wine country, and the thundering falls – and the experience is enhanced by mist, wind, and custom scents, simulating what it might be like to fly over and through the area’s iconic sites.
